Visegrad Scholarship Program



In the academic year 2009/2010, the International Visegrad Fund offers 400 semesters of Master's or Post-Master's (postgraduate) scholarships in 17 East and Central European countries.

Within the INTRA-VISEGRAD SCHOLARSHIPS, scholars from universities from the Visegrad Group (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia)can apply for 1- or 2-semester scholarships at all accredited public or private universities (or depts. of the Academies of Science) in V4 countries other than those of their citizenship.

Within the OUT-GOING SCHOLARSHIPS, scholars from V4 universities can apply for 1- or 2-semester scholarships at all accredited public or private universities in the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine.

And within the IN-COMING SCHOLARSHIPS, scholars from the following countries can apply for 1- to 4-semester scholarships at all accredited public or private universities in V4 countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, the Russian Federation, Serbia and Ukraine

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MPhil/PhD IN ECONOMICS

BY DISTANCE LEARNING MODE

The Open Society Institute and Staffordshire University Business School invite applications for the above 4-year scholarships. Applicants will normally be expected to be citizens of and resident in Montenegro

Applicants should have outstanding academic qualifications and good English. They should be teachers or researchers associated with an academic institution or a research organisation.

Each scholarship provides academic tuition fees at Staffordshire University, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), and return air travel from the scholar’s home country. The scholarship lasts for four years. Each year, the scholars will spend 3-4 months at Staffordshire University and the remainder at their home institution. On completion of the scholarship, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their work there.

MSc in ECONOMICS FOR BUSINESS ANALYSIS 2009-10


The Open Society Foundation, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Staffordshire University Business School invite applications for the above scholarships. Applicants will be expected to be both citizens of and resident in Montenegro

Applicants should have outstanding academic qualifications in Economics or related subjects and good English language skills. Each scholarship provides academic tuition fees at Staffordshire University, a stipend to cover living costs (for one person only), and return air travel from the scholar’s home country. On completion of the scholarship, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work.

JOINTLY-FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

The Open Society Foundation-London, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Cambridge Overseas Trust invite applications for the above scholarships at the University of Cambridge for the academic year 2009-10. Applicants will normally be both nationals of and resident in Montenegro

The scholarships are for one-year taught postgraduate Programs leading to the award of the MPhil and LLM Law

Global Supplementary Grant Program GSGP 2008-09

The Open Society Institute's Network Scholarship Programs (NSP) is pleased to announce the Global Supplementary Grant Program (GSGP) for the 2008 – 2009 academic year. GSGP offers supplementary grants to students from select countries of Eastern and Central Europe, the former Soviet Union, and Mongolia .

The purpose of the program is to enable qualified students to pursue doctoral studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at accredited universities in Asia, Australia , Europe, the Middle/Near East, and North America .Eligibility:The Global Supplementary Grant Program is available to citizens of the following countries: Albania , Armenia , Azerbaijan , Belarus , Bosnia , Croatia , Georgia , Kazakhstan , Kosovo , Kyrgyzstan , Macedonia , Moldova , Mongolia , Montenegro , Russia , Serbia , Tajikistan , Turkmenistan , Ukraine , and Uzbekistan .

Students pursuing doctorates in the medical, physical, chemical, technical or natural sciences as well as fine or performing arts are not eligible for this grant. Ineligible fields of study include:- Business Administration/Management Training- Computer Science- Finance/Banking/Marketing- Engineering- Hard & Natural Sciences (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, etc.)- Mathematics- Medical Sciences.

GSGP grants are for students pursuing doctorate degrees only. Students admitted to master’s programs with the intent to continue, but who are not clearly admitted into a Ph.D. program, are ineligible.Please note that this is a supplementary program not intended for full funding. Applicants must be able to demonstrate additional support from other sources.

OSI/FCO CHEVENING/CAMBRIDGE OVERSEAS TRUSTS

Riječ je o stipendijama koje omogućavaju izuzetnim studentima iz Crne Gore jednogodišnje poslediplomske studije na Univerzitetu Kembridž, iz sledećih oblasti:

kriminologija,
studije upravljanja procesom razvoja,
obrazovanje,
engleski jezik i primenjena lingvistika,
istorija,
istorija i filozofija nauke,
međunarodni odnosi,
menadžment, filozofija,
politička filozofija i istorija ideja,
socijalna antropologija.

Za stipendije mogu konkurisati lica stalno nastanjena u Crnoj Gori, sa odličnim akademskim uspjehom i odličnim znanjem engleskog jezika. Stipendija pokriva troškove školarine, boravka i putovanja. Kandidati koji prođu prvi krug selekcije polažu test engleskog jezika(IELTS).

Staffordshire University Scholarship Scheme

Aplikanti moraju posjedovati izvanredne akademske kvalifikacije iz ekonomije ili srodnih disciplina, a zahtjeva se i dobro poznavanje engleskog jezika.

Stipendija pokriva školarinu na Staffordshire University, troškove života za jednu osobu i povratnu avionsku kartu. Po završetku studija od uspješnih kandidata se očekuje da se vrate u njihovu zemlju da nastave sa studiranjem ili poslom.

Stipendija je izuzetna prilika za diplomirane ekonomiste koji namjeravaju ili su vec usmjerili svoja znanja i karijeru ka prosirivanju teoretskih i prakticnih znanja iz oblasti ekonomije. Postoje dva programa koja se nude:MSc in Economics for Business AnalysisMPhil/PhD in Economics: Distance Learning Mode.

CEU - Central European University

Centralnoevropski univerzitet svako godine objavljuje konkurs za stipendiranje jednogodišnjih i dvogodišnjih poslediplomskih i doktorskih studija. Pune ili djelimične stipendije dodjeljuju se na osnovu akademskih rezultata.

U ponudi su:

Centralno-evropski univerzitet u Budimpešti (CEU), Fond za otvoreno društvo i Beogradska otvorena škola realizuju ovaj program u saradnji sa Pedagoškim centrom Crne Gore.

Oxford Colleges Hospitality Scheme

Osnovne informacije o programu:
Program nudi jednomjesečnu posjetu nekom od oksfordskih koledža,
uglavnom u toku ljetnjih mjeseci.

Aplikanti moraju imati postdoktorski status i biti angažovani na univerzitetu ili naučnom institutu.Programom se predviđa besplatan smještaj i hrana, kao i nadoknada za fotokopiranje, knjige i lične izdatke, a moguće i putni troškovi.
Aplikanti moraju imati dobro znanje engleskog jezika.

Prednost imaju kandidati koji se usavršavaju za neki napredniji stepen ili oni koji rade na nekom posebnom projektu (pisanje knjige, lektorski posao..), kao i kandidati koji ranije nisu imali priliku da studiraju izvan centralne i istočne Evrope.
